The Green Grand Prix is an educational and competitive event in Watkins Glen, NY including the only Official SCCA Time-Speed-Distance Road Rally for Hybrid and Alternate Fuel Vehicles in North America.  Our Road Rally is sponsored by THE DORIS BOVEE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION. Doris Bovee was an environmental enthusiast and our road rally is a tribute to her.

For those primarily interested in a high MPG competition, The Chicago-Soft Green Grand Prix Fuel EconomyCompetition presented by Race-Cars.com is also held on the same day. (You may enter either the Rally or the Fuel Economy Competition as the timing of the events overlap)

DORIS BOVEE MEMORIAL ROAD RALLY:

- Full SCCA Time-Speed-Distance road rally
- Alternate fuel as well as gasoline and diesel vehicles encouraged
- Starts at 10:30 A.M. from IMRRC at 610 S. Decatur St., Watkins Glen
- $50 entry fee includes insurance, 2 lunches, and 2 commemorative T-Shirts


CHICAGO-SOFT GREEN GRAND PRIX FUEL ECONOMY COMPETITION presented by RACE-CARS.COM

- All vehicles invited
- 10 classes of prizes based on EPA mpg ratings
- Starts at 9:20 A.M. from the Glen Motor Inn, 1 mile North of Watkins Glen on Rte. 14
- Circles Seneca Lake on major roads with a mandatory 10 minute stop at the - Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
- $50 entry fee includes insurance cost , 2 lunches and 2 commemorative T-Shirts
